31-year-old Bimal Pun of Pokhara Sub-metropolis, Chauthe was arrested by the police on May 27 on the charges of murdering his 31-year-old wife Naramaya Pun and 6-year-ols daughter Purnima Pun. Police said that the accused used an iron rod to kill the victims during a family dispute on May 27. The accused was arrested from the incident site by the police and the bodies of the victims were sent to Western Zonal Hospital for the post-mortem.
