A school kid of Dhungrekhola-9 in Sarlahi has reportedly managed to free himself from the clutches of his abductors and now is under the care of the police. Kuse Kumar, son of Rajendra Mahato, said that four youth, who came on two motorcycles, took him today morning under the pretext that his mother was admitted to a hospital at Sukkhepokhari. Kuse Kumar was at his school when the incident occurred. He said that the youth took him to a forest in Sarlahi and blindfolded him. "I took the opportunity to get away when they (the abductors) looked away, busying themselves in conservation," the child said, adding that the abductors, knowing his escape, later, followed him. Thereafter the child met a woman collecting firewood in the forest and she herself removed the blindfold. "And I reached the road, took a bus to Bardibas in Mahottari," the child said. There the local people after knowing about the incident informed the police. Sub Inspector at the Area Police Office in Bardibas Birendra Kumar Singh said the child is safe now and that they have dispatched information about the child to his parents to take him home.
