Police on Thursday arrested a youth on the charges of raping a 7-year-old minor girl. According to DSP Narendra Chand of District Police Office, the arrested is a resident of Sunkuda VDC-5. A complaint was lodged against the accused youth at police on June 8 which accused him of raping the minor girl by forcefully taking her to the toilet on June 4 while she was alone at home. The police arrested him from Thalarama on Thursday. DSP Chand said that they have started an investigation into the incident.
