Police on Friday nabbed six Indian nationals and a Nepali in possession of ammunition from Pokharbhinda of Mahottari district, near the Nepal-India border. Armed Police Force Inspector Prakash Chandra Bhatta said a police team had nabbed them from an eatery operated by local Niranjan Sah in Pokharbhinda Bazaar of Mahottari district, adjacent to Sitamarhi of India. Bhatta said locals of Sitamarhi – Ram Kumar Ram, Hira Kumar Mahato, Ajit Kumar Mahato, Rambali Kumar, Dinesh Kumar Mahato and Ranjit Kumar Sudi – along with Aman Kumar Sah from Gaushala-1 of Mahottari district were arrested during a regular check-up this evening. Police seized a pistol, its three rounds of bullets and a magazine from them. The suspects have sent to the Mahottari District Police Office for further investigation and action.
