The District Court of Chitwan has ordered to sentence Santosh Kurmi,23 of Ratna Nagar Municipality-1 on June 16 for six years along with the compensation of Rs 50,000 on the charge of multiple rapes on a 15-years-old girl. The verdict was given by a single bench of District Court judge Kabi Prasad Neupane according to information officer Krishna Baral of District Court. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint against the accused on February 18, 2015, at Area Police Office of Ratna Nagar on the charge of raping a girl on February 17. The accused was arrested on February 18 by the police. The victim girl underwent a health check up on February 19 at Bharatpur hospital.
