The District Court of Okhaldhunga has ordered to sentence a 29-years-old husband with a penalty of Rs 25,000 on the charge of raping his 23-years-old wife. A single bench of District Court judge Uddav Prasad Bhattarai has given his verdict regarding the case on June 19. The accused was remanded in custody prior to this decision by the court according to inspector Deep Kumar Shah of DPO Okhaldhunga. The complaint states that the accused had raped his wife in an inebriated state on March 28. He was arrested by the police and the case was registered at court on March 31.
