Police have arrested Bijaya Chaudhary,28 on June 23 on the charge of murdering his mother Bechani Chaudhary,52 of Itahari sub-metropolis. The accused was arrested by the police for further investigation after the victim’s husband had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office on June 23. The dead body was exhumed from the incident site on June 23 based on the statement from the accused according to DSP Om Prasad Adhikari of Area Police Office of Itahari. The body of the victim was recovered from the bank of Tengra Khola and handed over to the victim’s family for final rites. The accused is under custody for further investigation according to police.
