The Area Police Office of Banke arrested 27-year-old Sushmita Bote of Kohalpur-11 and 50-year-old Urmila Shrestha on June 25 on the charges of taking a 16-years-old girl hostage and sexually exploiting her. The police said that the accused had taken the girl into hostage from the first week of June and sexually exploited her. Both the accused were charged under the human trafficking act and remanded in custody according to the Inspector Ramesh Awasthi of Area Police Office. The victim underwent a health check-up at Bheri zonal hospital in Nepalgunj according to the police.
