Lamjung man gets 10 year in jail for raping minor

The Lamjung District Court has sentenced a man to 10 years in prison for raping a five-year-old girl.
District Judge Arjun Adhikari handed down the 10-year jail term to Bimal Raj Adhikari (19) of Sundarbazaar and slapped Rs 20,000 in fine to provide the victim, Registrar at the Court Hari Gopal Gyawali said.
Police had arrested Adhikari on May 9, 2016.
