The District Court of Sunsari has ordered to sentence Bikal Adhikari,19 of Dharan Municipality-9 for six years on June 30 on the charge of molesting three years old girl. A single bench of district court judge Bharat Lamsal has given his verdict in the case. The victim’s parents had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office of Dharan on April 6. He was arrested by the police on April 10 for further investigation. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint of rape however the court gave a verdict of molestation and sentenced him for six years. The accused was remanded in custody at Jhumka prison on May 6.
