A 20-years-old rape victim complained that police has denied registering her complaint of rape. She said that she went to the police office to lodge a complaint against 20-year-old Pawan rai of Diktel Municipality-13 on the charge of raping after taking her hostile. However, the police denied registering her complaint. According to the victim, on June 6 she was controlled by the accused that came in a motorbike and raped her. After that, she was taken hostage by him and was repeatedly raped after taking her to Kathmandu. The victim had attempted to register the complaint on July 11 however the police administration showed their apathy according to her. The victim tried to lodge a complaint against Pawan’s father Prakash Rai as well for his assistance in the incident however, police asked her to remove his name before lodging complaint.
