Police have arrested 37-year-old Umesh Prasad Shah of Aurahi VDC-2 of Saptari on July 17 on the charge of molesting a 25-years-old woman. He was absconding after the incident. The victim woman had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on May 25 against the accused on charge of molesting her on May 18. The police had registered the complaint at District Court on the same day however the accused was absconded since then. The victim, after the incident, complained that police administration is showing apathy on arresting the accused. The accused was working as an Assistant Health worker at health posts of Maimjhuwa. Inspector Rudra Chudal said that he will be charged under the sexual abuse act.
