The Area Police Office of Lahan has arrested 18-year-old Shiva Narayan Mahato of Dhangadhi Municipality-12 on July 21 and registered a case against him on the charge of raping a 10-years-old girl. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office of Lahan on July 20 accusing him of raping a girl on July 19. The victim underwent a health check-up at District Hospital of Siraha on July 20 according to DSP Raj Kumar KC of District Police Office.
