President of Civil Society, Parasi has sat on hunger strike from 1 August as police did not arrest the perpetrator who attacked him and investigates tender disputes. He was attacked by three people while going to submit a memorandum related to tender clearance announced by District Development Committee (DDC). He sat on a hunger strike outside the DDC premise demanding to take action against the perpetrators. He claimed that police did not register the FIR even after seven days of complaint because of political pressure.
