Cadres of madhesi morcha disrupted a meeting being held at Rajbiraj today morning to discuss local body restructuring. The Morcha cadres entered the hall of the District Development Committee where the discussion was being held and burned the meeting minute. Saying that it was impractical to discuss local body restructuring when the state demarcation had not yet been finalized, the morcha cadres chanted slogans and intervened the meeting. Local Development Officer Dhirendra Kumar Yadav had organized the meeting to discuss the content of the letter regarding the local body restructuring which needs to be sent to Restructuring Commission within the mid-August. The date of the next meeting of local body restructuring has grown uncertain following the morcha's intervention. सप्तरीको राजविराजमा आज बिहान आयोजित स्थानीय निकाय पुनर्संरचना सम्बन्धी परामर्श बैठकमा मधेसी मोर्चाका कार्यकर्ताले हस्तक्षेप गरी अवरोध गरेका छन् । जिल्ला विकास समितिको सभाकक्षामा भइरहेको बैठकमा प्रवेश गरी मोर्चा कार्यकर्ताहरुले हुलहुज्जत गर्दै नाराबाजी गर्नुका साथै उक्त बैठकको माइन्युट् पनि खोसेर जलाएका छन् । उनीहरुले प्रदेश सीमांकन कै विषय टुंगो नलागेको बेला स्थानीय निकायको पुनर्संरचना अव्यवहारिक हुने भन्दै नारा लगाएका थिए । साउनको अन्तिम सातासम्ममा स्थानीय निकायको पुनर्संरचा गरी नाम र केन्द्र तोकेर पुनर्संरचना आयोगमा पठाउनुपर्ने परिपत्र अनुसार परामर्श गर्न जिल्लास्थित निमित्त स्थानीय विकास अधिकारी धिरेन्द्रकुमार यादवले उक्त बैठक बोलाएका थिए । स्थानीय विकास अधिकारीका अनुसार मोर्चाले गरेको अवरोधपछि स्थानिय निकाय पुनर्संरचना सम्बन्धी बैठक अब अनिश्चित भएको छ ।
