The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested a sub-engineer at the Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3 red-handed while taking Rs 300,000 as bribe from a service seeker in Kathmandu, on Sunday. The suspect, Dinesh Shrestha, was nabbed by a team deputed from the anti-graft constitutional body from a Maharajgunj-based restaurant. Shrestha had promised to issue a certificate of completion of house construction in exchange of the kickback, according to the CIAA Spokesperson Ganeshraj Karki. अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले तीन लाख रुपैयाँ घुससहित काठमाडौँ महानगरपालिकाका– ३ का सवइन्जिनियर दिनेश श्रेष्ठलाई आज पक्राउ गरेको छ। आयोगका प्रवक्ता गणेशराज कार्कीका अनुसार सवइन्जिनियर श्रेष्ठले घर निर्माण सम्पन्न प्रमाणपत्र बनाइदिने प्रयोजनका लागि एक सेवाग्राहीसँग महाराजगन्जस्थित रेस्टुराँबाट घुस रकमसहित पक्राउ गरिएको हो । सवइन्जिनियर श्रेष्ठले घुस मागेको भन्ने सूचनाका आधरामा पुगेको आयोगको टोलीले पक्राउ गरी थप अनुसन्धान जारी राखेको बताइएको छ ।
