Police arrested 21-year-old Shiv Nepali of Matakhani-5 and 6 others on the charge of killing 36-year-old Janak Pokhrel of the same place. While returning from teej fest at Jaisithok-4, Golpokhari, the arrested allegedly beat the victim on September 6 accusing him of teasing girls. Pokhrel who went out of contact after the incident was found dead at Thapakhola on September 8 with bruises on his body. Police is carrying out further investigation into the incident. कुटपिट गरी हत्या गरेको अभियोगमा माटाखानी–५ बस्ने २१ वर्षीय शिब नेपाली लगायत ७ जनालाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । भदौ २१ गते जैसीथोक–४ गोल्पोखरी स्थित तिजको नाचगान हेरी फर्कने क्रममा माटाखानी–५ बस्ने ३६ वर्षीय जनक पोखरेललाई अभियुक्तले केटी जिस्काएको बिषयमा झै–झगडा भई लखेट्दा सम्पर्क विहिन भएका पोखरेलको खोजतलास गर्दा विहीबार थापाखोलामा शरीर भरी निलडाम भएको अवस्थामा शव फेला परेको थियो । यस सम्बन्धमा स्थानीय प्रहरीले आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
