The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Friday filed a corruption case against engineer Ram Dulari Sharan Bhagwat of Water induced Disaster Prevention Division Office, Lamahai at the Special Court for demanding and receiving Rs 157,000 bribe from construction entrepreneurs. According to the anti-graft body it has sought maximum punishment with value amount of Rs 157,000 and a fine from the accused, according to the value amount under section 3 (1) and 3 (1)d of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2002.
