Man sentenced to 5 years in prison for attempting rape

District Court has sentenced 48-year-old Bir Bahadur Magar of Khanbu VDC to five years in prison on Monday on the charge of attempting rape on a 4-year-old girl.
According to police, Magar had attempted rape on the girl on March 30, 2015, and the family of the victim had filed a complaint in District Police Office on March 31.
