Kanchapur Khoka Hut Relief Committee has padlocked at the main gate of Mahendranagar Town Development office on September 21 against the reluctance of the town development office to develop Khoka market. An all-party meeting with Hut Relief Committee in 2053 BS had decided to provide land to manage Khoka market by making a 6 meter road in the area for which map of the road has also been passed by the Ministry. Inspite of this some officers of the town development has been hesitating to implement the decision and because of which the Khoka hut markets are left unmanaged. The Khoka protesters have warned to continue the padlocking unless the issue is resolved. महेन्द्रनगर नगरबिकास कार्यालयमा तलाबन्दी गरिएको छ । कंचनपुर खोका छाप्रा उद्वार समितिमा आवद्ध ब्यवसायिहरुले असोज ५ गते नगरबिकास कार्यालयको मुल गेटमै तालाबन्दी गरेका हुन् । खोका छाप्रा उद्वार समितिलाई २०५३ सालमा सर्वदलिय बैठकबाट उपलब्ध गराएको जमिनमा खोका बजार ब्यवस्थित र विस्तार गर्ने क्रममा हाल गरिएको निर्णय अनुसार उक्त बजार क्षेत्रमा ६ मिटर बाटो बनाएर बजार बनाउनका लागि मन्त्रालयबाट समेत नक्सा स्विक्रित भएता पनि नगरबिकासका केही पदधिकारीहरु निर्णय कार्यन्वयन नगर्दा खोका छाप्रा ब्यवसाय ब्यवस्थित हुन सकेको छैन । समयमा समाधान नभएसम्म तालाबन्दी जारी रहने कंचनपुर खोका छाप्रा उद्वार समितिका अध्यक्ष देवल सिंह विस्टले बताए ।
