Valley traffic went haywire throughout the day on Tuesday as taxi entrepreneurs and drivers obstruct vehicular movement in major throughout fares to protest alleged action against crooked cabbies in recent weeks. Traffic police have stepped up crackdown on cabbies who overcharge passengers, refuse to travel short distance and tamper with fare-meter. Traffic movement was affedted due to protest,said officials. ट्याक्सी चालकहरुको दादागिरीले राजधानी काठमाडौं दुई घन्टादेखि ठप्प छ। चारबजेदेखि ट्याक्स चालकहरु साधनसहित तीनकुनेमा जम्मा भएर सबैतिर ठप्प पारेका छन्। यसले गर्दा राजधानीको सम्पूर्ण सवारी व्यवस्थापन नै अस्तव्यस्त भएको छ। तीनकुनेदेखि माइतीघरसम्म जाम भएको छ भने जटिबुटीसम्म गाडीको लस्कर छ। सिंगो राजधानी ठप्प हुँदा पनि स्थानीय प्रशासन तथा प्रहरी रमिता हेरेर बसिरहेको छ। अहिलेसम्म सडकमा तेर्साइएका गाडीहरु हटाइएको छैन।
