Family and relatives of a brain tumor patient who died on the course of treatment at Neuro-Cardiology hospital in Biratnagar staged sit-in before the hospital following the death of the patient, 2-year-old, Raja Singh. Raja Singh had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since 51 days ago. Raja sing's parents have blamed the negligence of the doctors involved in the treatment for his death. The hospital management have meanwhile refused to hand-over the deceased patient's body to the family demanding clearance of the dues incurred during the treatment. बिराटनगरको न्युरो कार्डियोलोजी आस्पतालमा ब्रेन ट्युमरको उपचार गराई रहेको एक बालकको मृत्यु भए पछि उनका आफन्तहरुले अस्पताल प्रशासन घेराउ गरेका छन्। मोरङको कदमाहा-७ कमलपुर बाट उपचारका लागि न्युरो अस्पताल बिराटनगरमा भर्ना गराएका २ बर्षीय राजा सिंहको उपचारको क्रममा ५१ दिनमा मृत्यु भएको थियो। मृतकको आफन्तले भनी अस्पतालको लापरबाहीका कारण आफ्नो २ बर्षीय छोराको ज्यान गएकोले उपचारमा संलग्न डाक्टर लाई कारबाहीको माग गरेका छन्। आस्पताल प्रशासनले भने उपचारमा लापरबाही नभएको बताएको छ। ब्रेन ट्युमरको उपचार गराउदा १ लाख ३० हजार लागेको र अईसियुमा राखेर उपचार गराउदा आरु ५ लाख बढीको बिल बनेको बताउदै आफन्तलाई रकम नदिएसम्म शव नदिएको आस्पताल प्रशासन प्रमुख राजेश भट्टराईले बताउनु भयो। उपचारको क्रममा २ बर्षीय छोराको मृत्यु भएपछि आस्पतालले भने उपचार गराउदाको बाँकी रकम माग गरेका कारण आफन्तले छोराको शव पुन सकेको छैन।
