Protesting employees of Giri Bandhu Tea State have started second phase of protest movement. The employers who are resident of Birtamond municipality 5 and Shaniarjun municipality 9 started this second phase moment in order to protest the cutdown of the facilities which they were receiving from last four years. The protesters have alleged the company of not hearing their demands. The protest for the second time was initiated on 4 September from the main gate of the company with relay hunger strike according to the president of the struggling committee. The protesters have warned to get into hunger strike if their demand is not met by the relay. 195 employees in the company are in the protest demanding permanent placement, increment in salary, primary health facility, mending of their resident and other demands. विभिन्न १२ सूत्रीय माग राख्दै आन्दोलनमा उत्रिएका गिरी बन्धु टि स्टेट प्रालिका मजदुरले दोश्रो चरणको आन्दोलन सुरु गरेका छन् । बिर्तामोड नगरपालिका-५ र शनिअर्जुन नगरपालिका-९ का रहेको कम्पनीका मजदुरले खाईपाई आएको सेवा सुबिधा ४ बर्षदेखि निरन्तर कटौती भएको र आफूहरुका माग सुनुवाई नभएको भन्दै दोश्रो चरणको आन्दोलन शुरु गरेका हुन् । भदौ १९ गतेदेखि आन्दोलनमा उत्रिएका मजदुरहरुले दोश्रो चरणको आन्दोलन अन्तर्गत प्रालिको मुलगेट अगाडी आमरण अनसन शुरु गरेको संघर्ष समितिकी अध्यक्ष सपना खड्काले बताउनु भयो । भदौ २१ गतेदेखि हातमा कालो पट्टी बाधेर आन्दोलन सुरु गरेका उनीहरुले भदौ २२ गतेदेखि रिले अनसन गरेका थिए । रिले अनसनबाट पनि आफूहरुका माग पूरा नभएको भन्दै मंगलबारबाट आमरण अनसन शुरु गरेको खड्काले बताउनुभयो । प्रालिमा कार्यरत १९५ चिया मजदुरले आफूहरुलाई स्थायी गरिनुपर्ने, वृद्धि भएको ज्याला पाउनुपर्ने, प्राथमिक उपचार सुबिधा दिनुपर्ने, बासस्थानको मर्मत गर्नुपर्ने लगायत माग गरेका छन् ।
