Police have arrested 40 years old Deependra Magar on October 14 on charge of attacking and injuring his sister-in-law Sangeeta Rai, 25 of Sidin VDC-9 with wooden stick. The accused was arrested for the investigation by the police based on the complaint lodged at police post of Sidin on charge of injuring the victim by hitting her with wooden stick on her head on October 13 according to the inspector Ripendra Singh of DPO. The victim sustained a head injury and have four stitches on her head. She is undergoing treatment at District Hospital of Panchthar. She has been referred to Birtamod for further treatment. The victim said that the accused was about to attack her with Khukuri however later he attacked her with wooden stick on her head. सिदिन गाविस-९ की २५ वर्षीया सङ्गीता राई मगरलाई चिर्पट प्रहार गरी घाइते बनाएको आरोपमा असोज २८ गते उनका ४० वर्षीय जेठाजु दिपेन्द्र मगरलाई प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले असोज २८ गते टाउकोमा चिर्पट प्रहार गरी घाइते बनाएको आरोपमा प्रहरी चौकी सिदिनमा उजुरी दिएपछि आरोपितलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका इन्स्पेक्टर रिपेन्द्रकुमार सिंहले बताए । कुटपिटबाट घाइते भएकी पीडित महिलाको टाउकोमा चार ओटा टाँका लगाइएको र अहिले उनको उपचार जिल्ला अस्पताल पाँचथरमा भइरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । उनको अवस्था खतरामुक्त रहेको अस्पतालले जनाएको छ । पीडित महिलाको थप उपचारका लागि झापाको विर्तामोड लाने तयारी गरिएको पीडित महिलाका आफन्तले जानकारी दिए । ‘सुरुमा वहाँले खुकुरी प्रहार गर्न खोज्नुभयो । खुकुरी खोसेपछि चिर्पटले प्रहार गर्नुभयो ।’-पीडित महिलाले बताइन् ।
