The Area Police Office of Gokuleshwor have arrested 55 years old Gopal Joshi on October 14 on charge of beating his 42 years old Sita Devi Joshi of Boharigaun VDC-1. The victim had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office on October 13 against the accused on charge of beating her in an inebriated state according to DSP Kedar Khanal . The child club and women network of the VDC has prohibited the consumption and selling of alcohol and despite of that, the victim had beaten his wife and children in an inebriated state according to the police. The victim’s children said that the accused was about to attack his wife with sickle before they had stopped him. The member of women network had controlled the accused and handed over him to the police according to the chairperson Sita Devi Joshi of the network. बोहरीगाउँ गाविस-१ का ४२ वर्षीया सीतादेवी जोशीलाई कुटपिट गरेको आरोपमा इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय गोकुलेश्वरले उनका ५५ वर्षीय पति गोपाल जोशीलई असोज २८ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित महिलालाई असोज २७ गते आरोपितले मदिरा सेवन गरी कुटपिट गरेको आरोपमा महिला सञ्जालले प्रहरीमा उजुरी गरेपछि आरोपित गोपाललाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको डिएसपी केदार खनालले जानकारी दिए । बोहरीगाउँमा बालक्लव र महिला सञ्जालले मदिरा विक्री वितरण तथा सेवनमा प्रतिबन्ध गरेको अवस्थामा आरोपित जोशीले राति मदिरा सेवन गरी सीता र छोराछोरीमाथि कुटपिट गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । ‘बाबाले आमालाई हँसिया प्रहार गर्ने बेला हामीले रोक्यौं ।’-पीडित महिलाकी छोरीले बताइन् । महिला सञ्जालका सदस्यहरूले महिला माथि कुटपिट गरेको हल्ला सुनेपछि आरोपितलाई समातेर प्रहरीलाई बुझाएको महिला सञ्जालका अध्यक्ष सीतादेवी जोशीले जानकारी दिइन् ।
