Locals of Banganga has picketed area police office of Pipara, demanding investigation and action against the perpetrator involved in the ‘mysterious’ death of Khimkala Belbase,45, from Banganga municipality-14 on Tuesday. She was found dead in a mysterious condition on 14th of October. Locals and victim family have complained that they were lathi charged by the police during demonstration. Identifying Belbase's death as murder, around 100 of locals picketed police office demanding fair investigation and action against involved to the incident. They have blamed police for not investigating the case even after five days from the incident. Victim family also called for press conference, blaming that police did not do any investigating even after the FIR. Police has arrested Giriraj Paudel, from Banganga municipality-14 for investigation on Monday. गत २८ असोजमा वाणगंगा नगरपालिका–१४ घर भएकी ४५ वर्षीया खिमकला बेल्वासेको मृत्यु रहस्यमयी भएको भन्दै दोषीमाथि कारबाहीको माग गर्दै स्थानीयवासीले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन् । तर, इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पिपराले घेराउ गर्न पुगेका पीडित परिवार तथा स्थानीयवासीको कुरा नै नसुनी लाठीचार्ज गरेको छ । सयौँको संख्यामा गएका स्थानीयवासीले खिमकला बेल्वासेको मृत्यु नभई हत्या भएको दाबी गरेका छन् । उनीहरूले हत्यामा संलग्न दोषीलाई कारबाहीको माग गरेका छन् । प्रहरीले घटना भएको पाँच दिनसम्म अनुसन्धान नगरेपछि स्थानीयले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पिपरा घेराउ गरेका हुन् । मंगलबार १ बजे पुगेका स्थानीयले घटनाका दोषीलाई सार्वजनिक गरी कारबाही गर्न माग गरेका छन् । आमाको हत्यारालाई कारबाही गर्न किटानी जाहेरी दिँदासमेत प्र्रहरीले बेवास्ता गरेपछि पीडित परिवारले पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी घटना सार्वजनिक गरेका थिए । छोरीहरूले आक्रोशित हुँदै आमाका हत्यारालाई कारबाही गर्नुपर्ने माग राखेपछि प्रहरीले अनुसन्धानका लागि भन्दै सोमबार बिहान वाणगंगा नपा–१४ का गिरिराज पौडेललाई गिरफ्तार गरेको छ ।
