A woman from Banaganga municipality-15 of Kapilvastu was found dead in a mysterious condition on 14th October. 45-year-old Khimkala Belbase was found hanging in Kimbhu tree around 7 am that day. According to the deceased family, she was missing from 13th of October and was found hanging in a tree next morning. The deceased's family have claimed that she was murdered. Locals who saw the deceased body said that, her legs were touching the ground and her clothes was all wet and a tree she was hanging was only 5 feet tall while she is 5 feet 4inch, they found some scars of rope around her neck while she was found hanging in a Shawl. Locals said that police directly sent the dead body for postmortem and funeral without the consent of the deceased's family. It was learnt that deceased and her husband used to work in Panchtara Food Factory at Jitpur, Taulihawa-4. Deceased husband said that Manager Giriraj Paudel used to abused her sexually at her work. Few days before the incident, Paudel was forced apologiz for sexually abusing her and was made to promise not to repeat the abuse by the locals of Banganga. Following the incident, Paudel had reportedly threatened to kill her for making the incident of sexual abuse public.
