The District Court of Siraha has ordered to sentence 27-year-old Jitendra Das of Siraha Municipality-1 for eight years along with a compensation of Rs 30,000 after finding him guilty on raping a 15 years old girl. A single bench of District Court judge Rajendra Adhikari has given a verdict on the case according to assistant attorney Deependra Danuwar. The victim was raped by the accused in 2015 July 23 and complaint against him was lodged at DPO of Siraha on the same day. The victim underwent a health checkup at District Hospital of Siraha on July 23. The court had ordered to remand him in custody on August 19. एक १५ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको ठहर गर्दै पूर्पक्षका लागि थुनामा रहेका सिरहा नपा–१ का २७ वर्षीय जितेन्द्र दासलाई जिल्ला अदालतले कात्तिक २ गते आठ वर्ष कैद र ३० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्तिको फैसला गरेको छ । न्यायाधीश राजेन्द्र अधिकारीको इजलासले सो फैसला गरेको सहायक सरकारी वकिल दिपेन्द्र दनुवारले जानकारी दिए । पीडित बालिकालाई ०७२ साउन ७ गते जितेन्द्र दासले बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा पीडित परिवारले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सिरहामा साउन ७ गते उजुरी दिएका थिए । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण ०७२ साउन ७ गते जिल्ला अस्पताल सिरहामा गरिएको थियो । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सिरहाले दासलाई साउन ७ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो । जिल्ला अदालतले आरोपितलाई ०७२ भदौ २ गते पूर्पक्षको लागि थुनामा राख्ने आदेश दिएको थियो ।
