Tension ran high in Hile Bazaar of Dhankuta throughout the day on Friday after a bus hit a six-year-old boy of Pakribas-4 in Newroad in the morning. According to the police, the child, identified as Sohan Gurung was seriously injured in the incident and was undergoing treatment at Dharan- based BP koirala Institute of Health Science. Vehicular movement in Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, Bhojpur and other areas came to a grinding halt in the area after locals took to the streets demanding action against the bus driver and compensation. Police have arrested the bus driver.
