Thirteen student unions aligned to various political parties today staged a demonstration, demanding the impeachment motion registered against Commission for the Investiation of Abuse of Authority Chief Lok Man Singh Karki be passed. A meeting of 13-student unions held at Hotel Hardik had decided to stage a demonstration to exert pressure on the parliamentarians to pass the impeachment motion. The students staged the demonstration at Shantibatika, displaying placards and banners. Addressing the demonstration, representatives of different student unions demanded that CIAA Chief Karki be removed from his post to ensure rule of law in the country.
