Police have arrested Aiete Damai, 45 of Amtek VDC-1 on November 23 on charge of murdering his 36 years old wife Nirmala Damai. He murdered his wife over a normal dispute in an inebriated state on the night of November 21. The victim died on a spot after the accused attacked her with a wooden stick. After the murder, the accused was at large according to the police. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at District Police Office of Bhojpur against the accused on November 23. The accused was by the police arrested from the village. The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital of Bhojpur on November 23. According to inspector Radha Prasad Parajuli of District Police Office, the accused is taken into custody for further investigation. आम्तेक गाविस-१ की ३६ वर्षीया निर्मला दमाईको हत्या गरेको आरोपमा ४५ वर्षीय पति आइते दमाईलाई प्रहरीले मङ्सिर ८ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । मादकपदार्थ सेवन गरेका आइतेले मङ्सिर ६ गते सामान्य घरायसी विवादका क्रममा कान्छी पत्नी निर्मलालाई दाउराको चिरपट प्रहार गर्दा पीडित महिलाको घटनास्थलमै मृत्यु भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । घटना लगत्तै आरोपित फरार रहेका थिए । घटना पश्चात मृतकको माइती पक्षले मङ्सिर ८ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय भोजपुरमा उजुरी दिएका थिए । पीडित पक्षको उजुरीपछि आरोपितलाई सोही दिन गिरफ्तार गरिएको प्रहरीले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय भोजपुरका इन्स्पेक्टर राधाप्रसाद पराजुलीले जानकारी दिए । मृतकको पोष्टमार्टम जिल्ला अस्पताल भोजपुरमा मङ्सिर ८ गते नै गरिएको र घटनाको थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको इन्स्पेक्टर पराजुलीले बताए ।
