Smriti Thapa, newly-wed wife of Bibek Pariyar has been missing 48 hours after they were held in custody. 23-year-old Bibek Pariyar and 19- year-old Smriti Thapa of Dangihat-4, Bhaunne eloped and got married on Nov 15. Police had organized a discussion with the guardian of the couple in which Smriti had expressed that she had willfully married Bibek. According to Bibek, Smriti's relatives on Tuesday physically assaulted and took her with them with hands and mouth tied. As per Police Inspector, Megh Raj Thapa, Smriti was still a minor and was handed over to her relatives as her health was not good.
