Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar tensed following the death of a woman since morning. A deceased family has blamed negligence of hospital as a cause of death. Kamala Luitel,21 resident of Biratnagar-10 Hatkhola, died after giving birth to a child. The situation got out of control when Kamala's relatives started protesting against the hospital. In spite of a successful surgery, Kamala was admitted to B.P Koirala Health Institute due to the overflow of blood. Kamala lost her life during the treatment in Dharan. The relatives have demanded action against the doctors involved in the treatmen and provision of education and the costs of raising the child should be bared, the family of the deceased should be compensated and there must not be any carelessness regarding the same in near future. Large numbers of police officers have been kept on guard to keep the situation under control. There has been a discussion going on between the hospital administration and the affected family but any sort of conclusion is yet to be drawn. Medical Superintendent Dr. Roshan Pokharel has promised that he will investigate the incident. According to him, Kamala might have lost her life due to the dust and dirt, while being transferred in the post-operation ward. सुत्केरीको मृत्यु भएको विषयलाई लिएर बुधबार विहानैदेखि विराटनगर स्थित कोसी अञ्चल अस्पताल तनावग्रस्त बनेको छ । कोसी अस्पतालमा सोमबार शल्यक्रिया गरेर बच्चा निकालिएकी विराटनगर १० हाटखोलाकी २१ वर्षीय कमला लुइँटेल अधिकारीको बुधरबार विहान धरानमा मृत्यु भएको थियो । कमलाका आफन्त अस्पताल विरुद्ध नाराजुलुस गर्दै विरोधमा उत्रदा स्थिति तनावपूर्ण बनेको हो । महिला तथा प्रसूति रोग विशेषज्ञ डा. मेलुना भुषाल नेत्रृत्वको चिकित्सक टोलीले कमलाको शल्यक्रिया गरेर बच्चा निकालेको थियो । शल्यक्रिया गरेर बच्चा निकालिए पनि बढी रक्तश्राव भएका कारण स्वास्थ्य अवस्था जटिल बन्दै गएपछि सुत्केरी युवतीलाई थप उपचारका लागि धरानस्थित बीपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान पठाइएको थियो । उपचारका क्रममा बुधबार विहान कमलाको धरानमै मृत्यु भएको हो । चिकित्सकको लापरवाहीले मृत्यु भएको भन्दै कमलाका आफन्त विहानैदेखि विरोधमा उत्रिएका छन् । आफन्तले शल्यक्रियाका क्रममा लापरवाही गर्ने चिकित्सकलाई कारवाही हुनु पर्ने, मृतकबाट जन्मिएको छोरालाई शिक्षा दीक्षा र भरणपोषणको व्यवस्था अस्पतालले गर्नु पर्ने, पीडित परिवारलाई उचित क्षतिपूर्ति र किरिया खर्च दिनु पर्ने, आगामी दिनमा यस्ता घटना दोहोर्‌याउन नहुने, सर्वसाधारणको उपचारमा लापरवाही गर्न नहुने लगायतका माग राखेर नाराजुलुस गरिरहेका छन् । अस्पतालमा थप तनावको स्थिती उत्पन्न हुन नदिन ठूलो संख्यामा प्रहरी परिचालन गरिएको छ । समस्या समाधानका लागि भन्दै अस्पताल प्रशासन र पीडित पक्षबीच बार्ता जारी रहे पनि अहिले सम्म कुनै निस्कर्ष निस्कन सकेको छैन । अस्पतालका मेडिकल सुपरिटेन्डेन डा. रोशन पोखरेलले शल्यक्रियाका क्रममा चिकित्सकले लापरवाही गरे नगरेको विषयमा अनुसन्धान गरिने बताए । अप्रेसनपछि पोष्टअप वार्डमा लैजाँदा स्वास्थ्यकर्मीले ध्यान नदिंदा त्यहाँ रहेका फोहोरका कारण शरीरमा इन्फेक्सन भएर सुत्केरीको मृत्यु भएको हुन सक्ने डा. पोखरेलको भनाइ छ ।
