All health workers and staff at District Hospital Udaypur brought service delivery to a grinding halt with a protest to express solidarity for agitating senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in the capital. They halted all services except at the emergency ward in protest against the concerned authority as it didn't work to address KC's demands though 18 days had passed and his health condition was deteriorating. The agitators staged sit-in on the hospital premises holding a banner with 'Save KC' written on it from early morning on Wednesday. Earlier, they had submitted a memorandum to District Administration Office urging the government to save Dr KC's life.
