Solidarity for Govinda KC Alliance has staged a huge demonstraton in the capital, urging the government to save the life of Dr Govinda KC on Saturday. Putting forth a six-point demand concerning reforms in the health sector, Dr Govinda KC, a senior surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj, has been staging a fast-onto-death for the last 21 days. Coordinator of Naya Shakti Party, Nepal Dr Baburam Bhattarai, civil society activists, doctors, among others, were present in the demonstration. चिकित्सा शिक्षा सुधारको माग गर्दै विगत २१ दिनदेखि अनशनरत डा. गोविन्द केसीको जीवन रक्षाको माग गर्दै राजधानीमा प्रदर्शन गरिएको छ। सोलिडारिटी फर गोविन्द केसी एलाइन्सको अनुगाईमा राजधानीमा प्रदर्शन गरिएको हो। प्रदर्शनमा नयाँ शक्ति नेपालका संयोजक बाबुराम भट्टाराई, नागरिक अभियन्ता, चिकित्सकलगायतको उपस्थिति थियो।
