Residents of Pyuthan district staged demonstration since early morning on Saturday demanding undivided province no. 5. The recent constitution amendment bill registered by government at the Legislature-Parliament proposes splitting Tarai and hill districts in province 5. Local entrepreneurs of Pyuthan have come to the street to demonstrate closing down market and business. They staged a pressure rally which later converged into a corner meet. The demonstratation was organized by FNCCI Pyuthan. The protestors have said that they would continue their agitation until the statute amendment proposal was withdrawn. अखण्ड ५ नम्बर प्रदेशको माग गर्दै आन्दोलनमा उत्रिएका प्यूठान लगायतका जिल्लामा शनिवार विहानैदेखि आन्दोलन सुरु भएको छ । प्यूठानका उद्योग व्यवसायीहरु बजार बन्द गरेर सडकमा उत्रिएका छन् । आज जिल्लाका १० बजार इलाकाहरुमा उद्योग व्यवसायीहरुले दवाव मुलक र्‍याली तथा कोण सभा गरेका छन् । प्यूठान उद्योग बाणिज्य संघको आव्हानमा बजार इलाकाहरुले आन्दोलन गरेका हुन् । संविधान संशोधन मार्फत प्रदेश नं. ५ लाई टुक्राउन नहुने भन्दै उनीहरुले प्रस्ताव फिर्ता नलिएसम्म आन्दोलन जारी राख्ने बताएका छन् । हिमाल, पहाड र तराईलाई अलग बनाएर मुलुकको आर्थिक समृद्धि नहुने व्यवसायीहरुले बताएका छन् । अखण्ड ५ नं. प्रदेश कायम गर, संविधान संशोधन प्रस्ताव फिर्ता गर, हिमाल पहाड तराई कोहि छैन पराई लगायतका नारा समेत लगाएका छन् । जनभावनाको सम्वोधन गर्न सरकारसँग उनीहरुले माग गरेका छन् । जनभावना विपरित हुने प्रदेश सिमांकन हुन नसक्ने उद्योगहरुको भनाइ छ ।
