Arghakhachi locals have staged sit-in today in front of the government offices against the statute amend proposal registered by the government in the parliament. There have been several protest programs in different parts of 5 number state after the government registered amendment bill proposing to separate hilly districts from state no. 5 Locals had obstructed in entrance of government officials of DAO, DDC, District Court, land revenue and Drinking water office by sitting in front of gate between 9-11 am. सरकारले संसदमा दर्ता गराएको संशोधन विधेयक विरुद्ध आज अर्घाखाँचीका सरकारी कार्यालयमा स्थानीयले धर्ना दिएका छन् । पाँच नम्बर प्रदेशबाट पहाडी जिल्ला छुट्याउने गरी संसोधन प्रस्ताव दर्ता भएपछि त्यसको विरोधमा पाँच नम्बर प्रदेशका विभिन्न स्थानमा लगातार विरोधका कार्यक्रमहरु भइरहेका छन् । आज, २३ मंसीरमा जिल्ला प्रशासन, जिल्ला अदालत, जिल्ला विकास समिति, खानेपानी, मालपोत लगायतका सबै सरकारी कार्यलयमा बिहान ९ बजे देखि ११ बजे सम्म स्थनीयहरुले गेटमा बसी कर्मचारी प्रवेशमा समेत अवरोध गरे ।
