District Court Chitwan has ordered to sentence 20 years old Suman alias Gaine B.K of Bharatpur sub-metropolis-13 for eight years after finding him guilty on raping 14-years-old girl. A single bench of District Court Judge Tek Narayan Kunwar has given a verdict regarding the case on December 28. The court has also decided to compensate Rs 2,50,000 to the victim through Women and Children Office. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on October 14 on charge of rape on October 12. The accused was arrested by the police on October 14. The victim underwent a health checkup at Bharatpur Hospital on October 15. १४ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको कसुरमा भरतपुर उमनपा-१३ तोरीखेतका २० वर्षीय सुमन भनिने गाइने विकलाई जिल्ला अदालत चितवनले आठ वर्षकैदको फैसला सुनाएको छ । न्यायाधीश टेकनारायण कुँवरको इजलासले पुस १३ गते उक्त फैसला सुनाएको हो । साथै पीडितलाई महिला तथा बालबालिका कार्यालयबाट २ लाख ५० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्ति भराउने गरी फैसला गरेको हो । प्रतिवादीसँग सम्पत्ति नभएकाले महिला तथा बालबालिका कार्यालयबाट क्षतिपूर्ति भराउने फैसला गरिएको चितवन अदालतका सूचना अधिकारी कृष्ण बरालले जानकारी दिए । पीडित बालिकालाई आरोपितले असोज २६ गते बलाकार गरेको आरोपमा पीडित बालिकाका अभिभावकले २८ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय चितवनमा उजुरी दिएका थिए । प्रहरीले आरोपितलाई असोज २८ गते नै गिरफ्तार गरी मुद्दा चलाएको थियो । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण असोज २९ गते भरतपुर अस्पतालमा गरिएको थियो ।
