The health services at B.P memorial cancer hospital in Bharatpur has been affected after the doctors and staffs stopped working demanding of not getting salary and grade allowances since August. All services have been affected since January 2 which led the patients in crisis. Dr Anil Bikram Karki of the hospital complained that Chairperson Dr Prakash Neupane of the management committee had assured to provide salary until December 30 however it did not happened. Dr Neupane reached the hospital immediately to listen the complaint of the doctors after the daily operation of the hospital was halted. He further assured that the salaries will be provided after the meeting of ministry cabinet. He also said that the salary decision can only be passed from the meeting of board of directors. Chairperson said that the action will be taken to those who obstruct the daily operation of the hospital. The code of conduct related to the hospital has a provision to take action against those who is involved in disruption of regular service of the hospital however no action has been taken yet. भरतपुरस्थित विपी कोइराला मेमोरियल क्यान्सर अस्पतालका चिकित्सक र अन्य कर्मचारीहरू साउन महिनादेखि बढेको तलव र ग्रेड खान नपाएको भन्दै काम नै ठप्प पारेर बसेपछि पुस १८ गते अस्पतालको सेवा प्रभावित बनेको छ । विरोधका कारण सबैभन्दा बढी अप्रेशन सेवाका बिरामीहरू प्रभावित बनेका थिए । पुस महिनाको १५ गते सम्म तलव खुवाउने भन्दै सञ्चालक समितिका अध्यक्ष डा. प्रकाश न्यौपानेले भने पनि सो अनुसार नभएकाले काम छाडेर बस्नुपरेको डा. अनिलविक्रम कार्कीले बताए । चिकित्सक र अन्य स्वास्थ्य प्राविधिक तथा प्रशासनिक कर्मचारीले काम ठप्प पारेपछि अध्यक्ष डा. न्यौपाने सोमबार नै जहाजबाट चितवन आइ कर्मचारीको गुनासो सुन्न अस्पताल पुगेका थिए । ‘मैले सचिव र मन्त्री ज्यूलाई टिप्पणी उठाइसकेको छु, मन्त्रिपरिषद्को वैठक बसेलगत्तै कर्मचारीको तलव र अन्य सुविधाको समस्या हल हुन्छ ।’-अध्यक्ष डा. न्यौपानेले भने-‘तलव खुवाउने काम बोर्ड वैठकबाट निर्णय गराउनु पर्ने हुन्छ । तर, अहिले बोर्ड सदस्य पूर्ण नहुनाले समस्या भएको हो ।’ अस्पतालको सेवा नै ठप्प पारेर विरोध हुन थालेपछि अध्यक्षले काममा अवरोध गर्नेलाई कारवाही गर्ने बताएका छन् । अस्पताल सञ्चालनसम्बन्धी नियमावलीमा काममा बाधा गरेमा सम्बन्धित कर्मचारीलाई कारवाही हुने नियम रहे पनि अस्पतालले हालसम्म कसैलाई पनि उचित कारवाही गर्न सकेको छैन ।
