The District Court of Salyan has ordered Ramesh Reule of Phalabang-4 to sentence for five years and three months after finding him guilty on raping a 70 years old elderly woman. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim from the accused. Due to the poor financial condition of an accused, the compensation will be paid by Women and Children Office according to Bishnumani Upadhyaya of District Court. A single bench of District Court judge Madhabendra Raj Regmi had given a verdict on January 3 regarding the case. The complaint of rape was lodged at police office on July 14 last year. ७० वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको ठहर गर्दै सल्यान जिल्ला अदालतले फालाबाङ-४ का रमेश रेउलेलाई पाँच वर्षतीन महिना कैद र पीडित महिलाले पाउने गरी ५० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्तिको फैसला गरेको छ । आरोपित र उनका बाबु बाजेको नाममा कुनै अचल सम्पति नदेखिएको भन्दै जरिबाना लगाइएको ५० हजार रुपियाँ महिला तथा वालबालिका कार्यालय सल्यानबाट भराउन आदेश गरिएको जिल्ला अदालतका नायब सुब्बा बिष्णुमणी उपाध्यायले बताए । न्यायाधीश माधबेन्द्रराज रेग्मीको इजलासले पुस १८ गते सो फैसला गरेको हो । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले गत असार ३० गते बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीमा उजुरी परेको थियो ।
