On January 5, Police arrested 38-year-old Janak Bahadur Rokaya of Pandusain-3 on the charge of beating and seriously injuring his wife 30-year-old Gyanu Joshi Rokaya. The accused had beaten the victim on January 1, breaking her left arm and injuring both her eyes. She had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on January 4.
