The civilians at Arghakhanchi district have hurled stones and protested against the controversial speech delivered by Maoist politburo member Dilli Raj Acharya saying that there is no harm to divide Arghakhanchi district from province number 5. He was attempted to attack by the mobs while he was speaking at the inauguration program of Arghakhanchi fete. The environment was tensed after the incident. After the tense built up, energy minister Janardan Sharma left the place without delivering his speech. Journalist Prem Khadka was injured in an incident and he sustained a normal injury in his head. The civilians of Argahakhanchi were angry after energy minister, who came in a chartered chopper to address the assembly, said in a press meet that tunnel will be made for the people of Arghalkanchi to reach Pokhara. People protested with slogan against his speech. The environment was settled after the minister apologized with people for his speech.
