37 years old Devi Ram B.K was sentenced for 10 years after finding him guilt on raping 40 years old woman. The single bench of District Court judge Komal Prasad Acharya on January 24 had given his verdict regarding the case. The court also ordered for a compensation if Rs 30,000 from the accused to the victim. The victim was raped by the accused on October 11. She underwent a health checkup at Rapti sub-regional hospital on October 12. The accused was arrested by the police post of Goltakuri on a same day after the complaint against him was lodged by the family members. ४० वर्षीया एक महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको अभियोग ठहर गर्दै गोल्टाकुरी-६ का ३७ वर्षीय देविराम विकलाई दाङ जिल्ला अदालतले १० वर्ष कैद गर्ने फैसला गरेको छ । न्यायाधीश कोमलप्रसाद आचार्यको इजलासले माघ ११ गते विकलाई कसुरदार ठहर गर्दै १० वर्ष कैद तथा पीडितलाई ३० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्ति उपलव्ध गराउने फैसला भएको श्रेष्तेदार गम्भीर रानाले जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले ०७२ असोज २५ गते बलात्कार गरेको आरोप थियो । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण असोज २६ गते राप्ती उपक्षेत्रीय अस्पताल घोराहीमा गरिएको थियो । असोज २५ गते नै पीडित परिवारले प्रहरी चौकी गोल्टाकुरीमा उजुरी दिएपछि सोहीदिन प्रहरीले आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरी मुद्दा चलाएको थियो ।
