A complaint was lodged at Nawalparasi Police against 35-year-old Sukamaya Pariyar of Butwal-4 on the charges of trafficking a 23-year-old woman. The victim's family accused Sukamaya of taking the 23-year-old woman to a brothel in Dubai via Delhi of India. The incident came into light after the victim called her mother to inform her that she was being held into captivity in Dubai. The victim's mother filed a complaint at Police on January 24. Inspector Prakash Sapkota of District Police Office said that police started an investigation into the incident by arresting the accused.
