(updated) Police have caught four persons for their alleged involvement in the death of a 17-year-old girl at Ranibas VDC in Sindhuli. The suspects had reportedly lured the girl outside her home and raped her before carrying her unconscious body to her bedroom on Wednesday night. The girl was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctors at the Janaki Medical College in Janakpur. DSP Subas Chandra Bohara said they were waiting for the autopsy report before proceeding with the investigation. (PR) सामूहिक बलात्कारपछि हत्या गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले ४ जनालाई बिहीबार पक्राउ गरेको छ । रानिवास–२, डाँडाटोलकी १७ वर्षीया विपना माझीको बलात्कारपछि हत्या भएको भन्दै बाबु जिरेले उजुरी दिएपछि निरोज माझी, अजय परियार, पवन विक र रामजी खत्री पक्राउ परेका हुन् । पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आइनसकेकाले बलात्कार बारेमा अहिल्यै केही भन्न नसकिए पनि किशोरीको शरीरमा घाउ र नीलडाम रहेको डीएसपी सुवासचन्द्र बोहोराले बताए । भिमानस्थित इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयले उनीहरूलाई पक्राउ गरेको हो । रानीवासको प्रभात उमाविमा १० कक्षा अध्ययनरत विपनालाई बुधबार राति करिब ११/१२ बजेको समयमा सोही ठाउँका निरोज माझीले फोन गरी घर बाहिर बोलाएका थिए । घर नजिकको खेतमा लगेर सामूहिक बलात्कारपछि हत्या गरेको मृतक विपनाका बुबा जिरेको आरोप छ । हत्यापछि किशोरीलाई पुन: उनी सुत्ने घरको कोठामै ल्याएर राखेपछि आफूहरूले थाहा पाएको जिरेले बताए । ‘राति करिब १ बजे कोठाको ढोकामा आवाज आयो । त्यसपछि आमा शुकमाया उठेर छोरी सुत्ने कोठामा हेर्न जाँदा ढोका खुला भएको र छोरी अचेत अवस्थामा भेटिएपछि सबैलाई खबर भयो,’ उनले भने । स्थानीयले एम्बुलेन्समार्फत जनकपुरस्थित जानकी मेडिकल कलेज पुर्‍याएका थिए । चिकित्सकले अस्पताल पुर्‍याउनुअघि नै मृत्यु भएको बताएका थिए । मेडिकल कलेजका चिकित्सकले मृत्यु भइसकेको जनाउँदै भर्ना लिन नमानेपछि विपनाको शव पोस्टमार्टमका लागि बिहीबार बिहान सिन्धुली अस्पताल ल्याइएको छ । तर, रिपोर्ट आइसकेको छैन । हत्या आरोप लागेका निरोजले मृतक विपनालाई प्रेम गर्ने गरेको स्थानीयको भनाइ छ । तर, विपनाले नस्विकारेकै कारण अन्य युवाको साथ लिएर बलात्कार गरी हत्या गरेको आशंका भएको प्रभात उमाविका शिक्षक पुजन बख्रेलले बताए । प्रहरीले सामूहिक बलात्कारपछि हत्यामा सामेल भएको आशंकामा बिहीबार बिहानै स्थानीय चार जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको थियो । पक्राउ परेकालाई जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा ल्याएर थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको डीएसपी बोहोराले जनाए । ‘पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आइनसकेकाले बलात्कारबारेमा यसै भन्न सकिँदैन । तर घाउचोट हेर्दा हत्या गरिएको जस्तो देखिन्छ,’ उनले भने । Update..................................... Police have found that Bipana Majhi, 17, of Ranibas VDC-2, Dandatole, Sindhuli was murdered by her boyfriend, Niroj Majhi. Bipana had been raped and murdered at midnight in her own village a week ago. According to DSP Subaschandra Bohora, Niroj Majhi’s involvement was uncovered after taking the statements of those arrested. A day after the murder, police, acting on an FIR filed by the victim’s kin, had arrested five youths of the same village, including Niroj Majhi, Ajaya Pariyar, Pawan BK, and Ramji Khatri. “Niroj pleaded guilty to the crime,” said DSP Bohora. Niroj and Bipana were 10th graders at the local Prabhat Higher Secondary School. Police said Niroj masterminded the crime after Bipana started avoiding him. Niroj admitted to having asked her to meet him in a field nearby, where he and his friends raped her and then stoned her to death. After the murder, the boys had taken the body to her home and kept it in her room without anyone’s knowledge.
