A man killed his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon at Sijuwa in Morang district this afternoon before consuming poison in a suicide attempt. The deceased has been identified a Shanta Sutiyar at Musahar settlement of Sijuwa-6 in the district. The incident took place when Uday Sutiyar attacked his wife with the sharp weapon at around 12:30 pm under the influence of alcohol. Critically injured Shanta died while receiving treatment at the Rangeli Hospital, said Police Inspector Keshav Kumar Katuwal. Uday also consumed poison soon after the incident and now is receiving treatment at the Koshi Zonal Hospital, Biratnagar. सिजुवा–६ मुसहर बस्ती बस्ने २५ वर्षीया शान्ता सुतियारको उनकै पतिले धारिलो हतियार बसिला प्रहार गर्दा बुधबार मृत्यु भएको छ । उनका पति २६ वर्षीय उदय सुतिहारले मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरी बसिला प्रहार गर्दा गम्भीर घाइते भएकी शान्ताको रंगेली अस्पताल रंगेलीमा उपचारको क्रममा मृत्यु भएको हो । उदय सुतिहारलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएर यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीले आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
