Police arrested 26-year-old Ganesh Khatri of Narayan Municipality-7, Jarjekhola on February 10 on the charges of polygamy. He was arrested based on the complaint lodged by his 22-year-old wife Kalpana Thapa. The accused married a second woman 21-year-old Sita Kumari Singh despite having a wife. The victim lodged a complaint against the accused at DPO on February 8. He was arrested based on information according to inspector Ekindra Bahadur Khadka. The victim was living in her parental home after the incident.
