Local level employees in Palpa have protested with various demands. Employees have put forth demands such as local level election to be held soon, integration of local level employees on the basis of level and grades, responsibility as per the capability, etc. Work at Tansen municipality, VDC and DDC has been halted because of the protest. Service seekers are in trouble because of this problem. स्थानीय निकायका कर्मचारीहरुले विभिन्न माग सहित् आन्दोलन शुरु गरेका छन्। कर्मचारीहरुले स्थानीय तहको चुनाव छिट्टै घोषणा गर्नुपर्ने, स्थानीय निकायमा कार्यरत कर्मचारी र अन्य कर्मचारीलाइ मिलाएर तह तथा श्रेणीगत रुपमा समायोजन गर्नुपर्ने, क्षमताका आधारमा जिम्मेवारी दिनुपर्ने लगायतका माग राख्दै आनदोलन गरका हुन्। आइतबार स्थानीय निकाय कर्मचारी संघको अगुवाईमा गाविस, तानसेन नगरपालिका र जिविसको काम ठप्प भएको छ। कर्मचारीहरू आन्दोलनमा उत्रिदा सेवाग्राहीहरू मर्कामा परेका छन्। स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन घोषणाको मागसहित केन्द्रीय कार्यक्रम अनुसार काम ठप्प पारिएको नेपाल नगरपालिका कर्माचारी एशिसिएसन् ईकाई समिति तानसेनका सचिव मधुसुदन घर्तीले बताए।
