Locals of Sukhipur rural municipality in Siraha staged demonstration on Thursday protesting against the decision of converting Sukhipur into a rural municipality during local level restructuring. Sukhipur had been converted into a municipality by a meeting of cabinet of ministers held on June 16, 2015. सिरहाको सुखिपुर नगरपालिकालाई गाउँपालिका बनाएको भन्दै स्थानीयले बिहिबार झारु प्रदर्शन गरेका छन्। विसं २०७२ असार १ गतेको मन्त्रिपरिषद्को निर्णयले ७ वटा गाविस समायोजन गरी सुखिपुरलाई नगरपालिका घोषणा गरेको थियो।
