Chure Hill hospital in Hetauda tensed over a death of a patient after an operation. Relatives of deceased and locals picketed Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda and halted East West Highway for an hour blaming that the patient died due to negligence of the doctor. 16-years-old Kisan Waiba died during Appendicitis Operation on Friday night. After operation on 14 March, Waiba was referred to Bharatpur Medical College for further treatment. Sagar Lama, deceased’s uncle said that according to Medical College, Waiba died due to intestine cut when operated wrongly. Waiba was kept in ICU for two days after operation and referred to Medical Hospital. Relatives claim that they will not receive the dead body until action is taken against the doctor operating and appropriate compensation is provided. They also halted the admission of new patients in the hospital. They staged sit-in protest with dead body. To take the situation under control police was deployed to hospital. According to Rabi Raman Adhikari, Hospital Manager, discussion with deceased’s relatives and investigation for the cause of death is being done. डाक्टरको लापरबाहीले बिरामीको मृत्य भएको भन्दै हेटौंडा ११ स्थित चरेहिल अस्पतालमा मृतकका अफन्त र स्थानीयले घेराउ गर्नका साथै राजमार्ग अवरद्ध गरेका छन् । एपेन्डिसाइडको शल्यक्रिया गर्दा डाक्टरको लापरबारीले हाँडीखोला दरदराका १६ वर्षीय किसन वाइवाको मृत्य भएको आफन्तको आरोप छ । चैत १ गते एपेन्डिसाइडको शल्यक्रियापछि चरेहिलले थप उपचारका लागि बिरामीलाई चितवनस्थित भरतपर मेडिकल कलेजमा 'रिफर' गरेको थियो । मेडिकल कलेजमा उपचारका क्रममा वाइवाको शक्रबार राति मृत्य भएको हो । चरेहिलमा एपेन्डिसाइडको गलत ठाउँमा शल्यक्रिया गरी आन्द्रा काटिँदा वाइवाको मृत्य भएको मेडिकल कलेजले जनाएको मृतकका मामा सागर लामाले बताए । 'हिँडेर उपचार गर्न अस्पताल छिरेका बिरामीको अस्पतालको लापरबाहिले ज्यान गयो', उनले भने, 'शल्यक्रियापछि दई दिन आईसीयूमा राखेर उपचार गरेपछि थप उपचारका लागि चरेहिलले भरतपर रिफर गरेको हो ।' गलत शल्यक्रिया गर्ने डाक्टरलाई कारबाही र उचित क्षतिपूर्ति नपाएसम्म अस्पतालबाट शव नउठाउने मृतकका आफन्तले बताएका छन् । उनीहरूले अस्पतालमा नयाँ बिरामी भर्ना हन पनि दिएका छैनन् । अस्तालको लापरबारीले बिरामीको ज्यान गएको भन्दै शनिबार बिहानैदेखि आफन्तले मृतकको शव अस्पताल परिसरमा राखेर धर्ना दिएका थिए । उनीहरूले एक घन्टा पूर्व-पश्चिम राजमार्गसमेत अवरद्ध गरेका थिए । अस्पतालमा तनाव उत्पन्न भएपछि प्रहरी परिचालन गरिएको छ । मृतका आफन्तसँग छलफल गरिरहेको र के कारणले बिरामीको ज्यान गयो भन्नेबारे अनसन्धान भइरहेको अस्पतालका प्रशासन प्रमख रविरमण अधिकारीले बताए ।
